Polar Bear Comix

Today I’m starting a new story. “SnowCone City” has consistently been my most popular series at ComicWorld, but so far I haven’t posted it to the web (speaking of ComicWorld, this weekend I’ll be at CW Busan at table A15).

The idea for this story came many years ago while I was teaching at an elementary school. I made up the Penguin Rangers as a bit of foolishness, but the students seemed to like them. Over time I sketched out a whole cast of characters on the whiteboard between classes. Eventually, when students started asking for new Penguin Ranger stories instead of a game at the end of class, I knew that I had a hit.
